The Healing Power of Functional Mushrooms with Georgi Grogan | PCOS Awareness Month

🎙 Welcome to episode 12 of Manifesting Happiness with myself, Manifestation Coach Esther McCann and this episode’s Holistic Healing Queen Georgi Grogan of Sixways.
✨ In this episode we discuss Georgi's journey of being diagnosed with PCOS and Coeliac disease, and how she discovered Functional Mushrooms to regulate her hormones, cycles and more! As a result she founded Sixways to bring her concoctions to the market and to help other women in particular. This episode is not sponsored in anyway but it is PCOS awareness month (September 2024), and we hope to bring awareness to the condition and to inspire women that they can improve their cycles and symptoms with natural remedies.
 
👸 Georgi gained seven years of experience in the skin and personal care consumer goods market prior to the launch of Sixways in 2023. Her career took a significant turn when personal health challenges prompted her to explore holistic treatments such as diet, lifestyle changes, and supplements. Her deepening passion led her to further study and to become a nutritionist. A former midwife and mother to four, Lyn has a deep understanding of the challenges that come with balancing personal and professional life. She has bravely navigated her own battles with anxiety and panic disorder, which fuels her passion for helping others find their way through similar struggles.
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at university, Lyn is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and expertise in the field of mental health. She is also the author of the bestselling mental health book, The Now Step: Manage Your Mental Health Without Going Over the Past, which provides readers with practical strategies for improving their mental well-being.
In addition to her one to one therapy, Lyn runs an online anxiety membership called You V Anxiety, where she offers support and resources to individuals seeking to manage their anxiety effectively. Her approach combines evidence-based techniques with a compassionate understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing anxiety, making her a valuable resource in the mental health community.
